C.DPO.DA. or Certified Data Protection Officer and Data Auditor has been the flagship program of FDPPI. It was the program designed for DPOs and Data Auditors.
In the new set of programs, the following four types of programs would be introduced shortly. The Current programs will continue until the new set of programs fully replace them.
The programs will be catering to the requirements of different types of professionals.
CDPP-I will now consist of both ITA 2000 and DPDPA 2023. It will cover the Intermediary Guidelines under ITA 2000, the Adjudication system, the Digital authentication system, digital evidence certification system etc which are relevant for Data Protection and Security. On DPDPA 2023 it will contain a detailed coverage of both the Act and the Rules.
CEDPO will be a replacement of the current C.DPO.DA. Some aspects of DGPSI which were being covered in the program will now be replaced with a more intensive coverage of the implementation aspects along with case study discussions.
CIDA will be a program available only for those who have completed CEDPO program and will focus on the Data Audit including Data Valuation. It will cover the DGPSI frameworks in greater detail. It will cover DGPSI-Full, DGPSI-Lite, DGPSI-AI, DGPSI-HR and DGPSI-DP.
CDPO (GDPR) will be a program meant for DPOs interested in GDPR environment. It will cover both ISO 27701:2025 and DGPSI-GDPR as frameworks for compliance.
All programs will be conducted on a hybrid mode with some recorded background videos to supplement the interactive sessions (of about 12 hours each) which may be either online or offline.
The schedule for these programs and pricing will be announced from time to time.
Examinations will be conducted periodically.
In addition, the current programs conducted on iLet platform our training partner w,ill continue. These programs will be available on tap without the need to wait for the next schedule. Participants of this course can also appear for the same examination as other simialr programs conducted by FDPPI directly. covers the Legal, Technical and Governance aspects related to DPDPA Compliance.
One examination attempt comes free with the course. If additional attempts are required, they will be charged. All participants would be given a participation certificate on request and those who pass the online examination would be provided the full certification. (Online examination can be taken by the student from the convenience of their homes).
Currently Four books namely “Guardians of Privacy…,“, “DGPSI…, ” and “Taming the twin challenges DPDPA and AI with DGPSI AI” and “Wisdom Companion, for the champions of DPDPA Compliance” are considered the recommended reading materials. All are available in Kindle form.
