DGPSI-AI is a framework for compliance of DPDPA and an extension of DGPSI. It contains 9 implementation specifications applicable to Data fiduciaries built on the foundation of six principles. It also contains 13 more implementation specifications applicable to AI developers.
The framework has been in existence for last few months and is fully in tune with the recommendation contained in the India AI Guidelines published by MeitY on 5th November 2025.
