FDPPI has set up a Personal Data Protection Codes Committee under the coordination of Mr Ramesh Venkataraman to develop codes of practice for different personal data protection related activities.
Where necessary, individual special action groups and working committees will be trying to create limited research reports which will be used by the PDP-CC to build actionable policies/advisories recommended under PDPSI framework.
Presently the following codes are under development
- Handling of personal data of deceased data principals
- Valuation of Personal Data for representation in the Balance sheet
The PDP-CC advisories would be published as part of the activities of FDPPI and public comments would be sought from time to time.
